May 11, 5:54 PM800 block of East Washington Officers responded regarding a disturbance. An assault involving 2 females occurred while the officer was attempting to resolve the disturbance. The 2 female subjects were arrested for assault against each other and a male subject was arrested for being drunk in public.13-02644
May 11, 11:57 AM300 block of East G St Officers responded regarding subjects fighting. 2 Hispanic male adults earlier went into the swap meet in the 1100 block of North Mt Vernon and took t-shirts from a vendor and, when confronted, they assaulted the vendor. They fled the area on foot and then in the area of the 300 block of East G St, the same 2 suspects challenged a victim to fight and subsequently attacked him. The suspects then attempted to flee in the victim's vehicle, but the victim was able to fight them as they were driving away, causing them to give up control of the vehicle and they flee on foot. Officers conducted an area check including the use of the Sherriff's helicopter, 40-King. The investigation is still on-going. 13-02637, 13-02638
May 11, 1:33 AM1300 block of South Meadow Ln Officers responded regarding a disturbance between a male and female. By the time the officers arrived, both subjects had smashed out the windows on each other's vehicles. The female subject was given treatment for cuts to her hands, but the male subject continued to be disruptive by arguing with officers and refusing to comply with their commands. When officers attempted to arrest the male subject, he fled and was chased by two officers and was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.13-02633
May 2, 8:48 PMIowa Shell on Iowa Ave Officers responded regarding shots fired. An off-duty corrections officer was shot while pumping gas. The two suspects were later taken into custody by Riverside PD. See the Press Release.13-02457
May 2, 4:09 AMArea of I-10 at Cedar Colton K-9 officer responded to provide assistance to San Bernardino Police regarding searching for a fleeing felony suspect. K9 Eddie tracked the suspect, located him, and he was taken into custody.13-02438
May 1, 8:23 PM200 block of O St Officers responded regarding multiple subjects fighting. A suspect attempted to hide from an officer and then fled. As he ran the suspect tried to discard a clear bag which was recovered and found to contain crystal meth. The suspect was taken into custody and booked for possession of a controlled substance.13-02433
Apr 30, 9:23 PMArea of Valley and Pepper An officer on routine patrol spotted a vehicle matching the description of one that had been reported stolen earlier in the evening by Rialto PD. The vehicle was confirmed to be stolen and the occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody and the vehicle was returned to its owner.13-02414
Apr 30, 4:19 AM100 block of West H St Officers responded regarding a suspicious subject. The suspect was reported to be wearing dark clothing and was hanging around near a business that had been burglarized before. The suspect was contacted by officers and later found to be responsible for several burglaries in the area over the past several weeks.13-02391
Apr 26, 5:26 PMUnknown location in Colton An officer responded regarding a shooting investigation. An adult male victim went to the Emergency Room at St. Bernadine's Hospital and reported that he had been shot that morning. The wound was not a life threatening injury. 13-02328
Apr 25, 2:25 AMArea of Pepper and Valley Officers responded regarding a traffic collision involving a motorcycle that was on the ground and on fire. Officers arrived but were unable to locate the motorcycle driver. Due to the total destruction of the motorcycle a thorough area check was completed near the scene but the driver could not be located until he was finally located at the entrance to the Emergency Room of Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. The driver became very uncooperative and would not follow officer's instructions and was taken into custody by force. The driver was taken inside for treatment of injuries he sustained during the collision. The driver was cited and released at ARMC for resisting officers and two outstanding warrants.13-02280
Apr 23, 3:58 AM1000 block of Stevenson St An officer on routine patrol saw a vehicle make an unsafe turn in front of traffic and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was found to have an outstanding warrant and he was arrested. A handgun and methamphetamine were found during a subsequent search. Three subjects were taken into custody.13-02227
Apr 22, 5:05 PMRite Aid on Mt. Vernon Av Officers responded regarding suspicious circumstances. A subject ran into the store and dropped a black backpack, he reportedly said that someone will come to pick it up, and then ran out of the store and got into a white car and left. The building was cleared and the San Bernardino Sherriff's Bomb Squad was called. The backpack was determined not to be dangerous and was collected by officers.13-02221
Apr 22, 4:01 PMArea of Randall and Meridian Officers responded regarding a report of a man with a gun. The suspect was located near the train tracks and was arrested at gun point. The gun was found to be a pellet gun. The suspect was cited for display of an imitation firearm in public and released.13-02218
Apr 22, 12:19 PM800 block of East E St Officers responded regarding a suspicious subject who was seen screaming, attempting to enter a residence and appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Suspect ran from officers and after a short foot pursuit, he was taken into custody. The suspect resisted officers throughout the arrest. His identity was determined from fingerprint scan and an outstanding warrant was found and he was booked into county jail.13-02211
Apr 21, 8:26 PMJehue Middle School on Eucalyptus Officers responded regarding a burglary alarm and found a classroom had been broken into. Officers heard noises coming from inside the room and gave numerous warnings for the suspect to give up or the K9 would be used. The suspect was seen in the room with something over his face. K9 Dax was deployed and the suspect was bitten in the right arm and he began to comply and stopped resisting. Dax was called off and the arrest was made. Officers found that the suspect had stacked property he intended to steal next to the door. The suspect was treated at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for his injuries and booked into West Valley Detention Center for burglary.13-02196
Apr 21, 11:50 AMArea of Pennsylvania and Julie St Officers responded regarding a disturbance involving a male and female arguing. When officers arrived, the male subject fled, leading to a foot pursuit. The subject was detained and found to have outstanding warrants. He was arrested for resisting arrest and for the warrants.13-02190
Apr 20, 5:40PM500 block of West N St Officers responded regarding a vicious dog attack. Dispatch took a call from a 7 year old reporting that her grandmother was being attacked by the family's pitbull. See the Press Release.13-02173
Apr 17, 8:12 PMArea of Rancho and Peach Officers responded regarding juveniles throwing rocks at vehicles. When officers arrived, the juveniles were no longer at the scene and could not be identified by the victim.13-02119
Apr 17, 6;19 AM200 block of West F St An officer was on routine patrol when he was flagged down regarding two dogs attacking each other. Both dogs were taken into custody and transported to the animal clinic for treatment.13-02108
Apr 17, 2:25 AM5000 block Brookside, Fontana An officer responded to assist Fontana PD regarding a report of a robbery in progress with 5 gun men. The incident was found to be a hoax.None
Apr 14, 9:32 AM1300 block of Meadow Ln Officers responded regarding a reported rape. Evidence was obtained and a suspect was taken into custody.13-02048
Apr 13, 1:40 PMOld Moss Bros site on Valley Bl Officers responded regarding a trespass alarm activation. A male and a female subject were found on the property and arrested. The male suspect was booked at the Central Detention Center for felony vandalism and possession of a controlled substance, while the female suspect was booked for felony vandalism and for outstanding warrants.13-02034
Apr 11, 12:20 AM2000 block of Greenbrier St Officers responded regarding a suspicious subject. The suspect resisted officers and was forcibly taken into custody.13-01977
Apr 10, 10:30 PMArea of Stater Bros on Washington Officers responded when the suspect of an earlier incident was reportedly seen. Officers took the suspect into custody and he was booked into County Jail on charges of kidnap to commit a sex crime. See the Press Release. 13-01935
Apr 9, 9:45 PM900 block of Palm Dr Officers responded regarding a strong arm robbery. A Hispanic male juvenile and a Black male juvenile took the victim's purse from her as she was walking home. Officers conducted an area check but were unable to locate the suspects.13-01950
Apr 2, 3:58 AMArea of San Bernardino and Riverside Av An officer on routine patrol attempted to stop a vehicle which did not have front license plates, but the driver failed to yield and a short vehicle pursuit ensued. Prior to the end of the pursuit the vehicle was discovered to be reported as stolen by San Bernardino PD. The suspect crashed the vehicle and fled, but was caught by officers when he attempted to jump a fence. The suspect failed to surrender and had to be taken into custody by force. The suspect was treated at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and later booked at West Valley Detention Center for evading arrest, resisting a peace officer, auto theft with priors, and possession of ammunition by a felon.
