022112 @ 0252 hours: Officers responded with Colton Fire to the 800 block of West H St. regarding a residential fire. Colton Fire requested units for traffic control. DR #12-04706

022012 @ 1040 hours: Officers responded to a burglary reported in the 500 block of East Laurel St. A maintenance worker at the apartment complex reported seeing a Hispanic male running from the location and he advised that an air conditioner had been removed from an apartment and damage had been done in an apparent attempt to remove copper and other metals from the walls. The suspect was located several blocks away and was identified as the person that ran from the complex. Missing property was located and recovered and the suspect was arrested. DR# 12-04642

022012 @ 0349 hours: Officers responded to the 400 block of East Riverside Ave. regarding a family disturbance. Officers spoke with the father, who is disabled. The 15 year old male son was reportedly extremely violent and acting irrationally. The juvenile was detained for mental evaluation. As the officers were attempting to resolve the issues with the juvenile it was found the his mother was allowing him to smoke marijuana, drink alcohol and disrupt the family. The mother was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and booked into county jail. DR# 12-04631

022012 @ 0300 hours: Officers responded with Colton Fire to the 1500 block of North Riverside Ave. regarding a detached shed on fire. Colton Fire extinguished the fire, which caused approximately $1000.00 in damage. It was discovered that the renters son, a 15 year old male juvenile intentionally set the shed on fire. The juvenile was arrested and booked into juvenile hall. No injuries were sustained to anyone involved in the incident. DR# 12-04628

021912 @ 2001 hours: Officers responded to the 1400 block of East Santo Antonio Dr regarding a 17 year old male that has been removed from his residence by his mother and her live-in boyfriend. The juvenile was contacted as well as both suspects. The mother and the live in boyfriend, who has been at with the mother for 7 years, had removed all the juveniles clothing and personal items from the residence. Mother said she no longer wanted her son to live with them. Officers attempted to reason with both suspects but they refused to allow the juvenile to come back into his home. Both suspects were placed under arrest for failing to allow a minor back into the home. The juvenile was placed into the care of his aunt per Child Protective Services. DR# 12-04609

021912 @ 0001 hours: Officers responded to the 1400 block of East Santo Antonio Dr regarding a possible stabbing that took place. Officers found an adult male suffering from a laceration to his right hand. It was determined that the adult male was fighting with his girlfriend's 17 year old son. During the fight, the adult male accidentally struck the front window of the apartment, breaking the window and cutting his hand. Through statements of all parties involved it was also found both the adult male and the juvenile did have kitchen knives during the altercation and were threatening each other with the knives. The adult male was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment of the laceration to his hand. The juvenile was taken to a relative's house at the request of his mother. A report was taken and is to be submitted to the D.A.s office for review. DR# 12-04537

021812 @ 0149 hours: Officers responded to an unknown injury collision in the 1300 block of North Mt. Vernon Ave where a vehicle had struck the curb, continued onto private property and struck a tree at a residence. The driver, a 20 year old female, was determined to be intoxicated. The driver was arrested for DUI. A 14 year old passenger who was in the vehicle sustained a cut lip during the collision. The juvenile was released to her parent after being treated at the scene by Colton Fire and Paramedics. An additional charge of child endangerment was charged against the suspect. DR# 12-04452

021812 @ 0032 hours: Officers responded to Colton Motel on Sperry Dr regarding a female requesting police assistance. Officers arrived and found a female victim in the shower bleeding from her nose. The victim said her live in boyfriend struck her face multiple times for an unknown reason. The suspect, who was present, was detained. The suspect was found to have a no bail unrelated warrant for burglary. The victim desired prosecution for the suspect punching her face and causing injury. The suspect was booked into county jail for spousal abuse and criminal threats as well as the outstanding warrant. DR# 12-04448

021712 @ 2315 hours: Officers responded to the 400 block of Birch St regarding a large party/fight at the location. As officers arrived they observed multiple people in the street and nearby area fighting. As officers began to respond to the fights, the subjects fighting all fled the area. While clearing the area, 2 victims were found with stab wounds. The victims drove themselves to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. A 3rd victim, who was also stabbed was driven to San Bernardino Community Hospital, and eventually transported by ambulance to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. All 3 victims were at the party on Birch St. All victims said they were stabbed by an unknown suspect(s) for nonpayment of Nitrous Oxide balloons. The victims could not identify the suspects, location or give any helpful information regarding the crime. The victims did not want to cooperate with the police investigation. A report was taken to document the incident. No of the injuries were life-threatening. DR# 12-04442

021612 @ 0445 hours: Officers responded to the Royal Truck Stop on Steel Rd to follow-up on an earlier report of a man threatening people with a knife. A subject was armed with a knife and locked himself in the shower area. Officers negotiated with the subject who was hearing voices. He was taken into custody after 30 minutes. DR # 12-04277

021512 @ 0203 hours: While on normal patrol, officers became aware that Riverside PD was in the process of pursuing a motorcycle on the 215 freeway toward Washington. Officers positioned to intercept and a motorcycle did try to exit the 10 freeway near Rancho Ave and Valley. The driver spotted police and immediately reentered the freeway. With no immediate sign of units following the motorcycle, Colton officers joined the pursuit. The suspect led officers on a high speed pursuit to the city of Ontario. The suspect crashed his motorcycle at 100 MPH. He was transported and admitted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries. DR # 12-04186

021212 @ 2230 hours: Officers responded to the Fantasy bar on S. La Cadena Dr in reference to a stabbing. The stabbing report was unfounded, however, officers located a subject who had been beat up. During the investigation the victim became uncooperative and SPIT blood into the face of one of the officers. The suspect also made statements that he was going to get a gun and kill officers. Paramedics responded to treat the suspect who was then transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for further treatment. The suspect was then booked West Valley Detention Center for resisting officers, and battery against a police officer. DR# 12-03942

021212 @ 1946 hours: Officers responded to the Fantasy bar on S. La Cadena DR in reference to a man with a gun call. Upon arrival, officers located the suspect vehicle leaving the area. A felony traffic stop was conducted with officer's firearms drawn. No firearms were located in the vehicle and the suspected victim fled prior to police arrival. It is believed that three subjects were dropped off by the suspect vehicle prior to the vehicle being located. DR# 12-03932

021212 @ 1403 hours: Officers responded to the 2000 block of East Valleywoods regarding a burglary in progress. A neighbor reported seeing two Black males smash a rear window of the residence and climb through the window. The caller continued to provide information to Dispatch as the officers were enroute. As the 1st Officer arrived, the suspects fled the residence and jumped the rear fence. Another officer arrived and caught the two suspects leaving the area. The residence was cleared and the caller identified the suspects during an infield lineup. The stolen property was recovered, in the possession of the suspects, in a backpack stolen from the residence that was used to take additional property. The property was identified by the victim and returned after ID work was completed. One suspect is 16, booked into SB Juvenile Hall, the 2nd is an adult, booked into West Valley Detention Center. DR# 12-03914

021012 @ 2104 hours: An officer on routine patrol observed a vehicle near the intersection of M St and 9th St that was speeding. The officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, but the driver refused to yield and fled from the officer. A short traffic pursuit took place, then the driver of the vehicle stopped and fled on foot. He was apprehended a short distance away from the vehicle. Driver is found to be on active parole and he was booked into county jail. DR# 12-03765

020912 @ 2145 hours: Colton K9 officer assisted Riverside County Sheriff in a ground search when two armed robbery suspects fled from their vehicle in Moreno Valley. Suspects were not located. DR #12-03677

020812 @ 0928 hours: An officer responded to the snack building at Veteran's Park regarding a burglary. Suspects damaged the sprinkler control box and stole a variety of food items. The suspect possibly injured him/herself leaving a small quantity of blood evidence. That evidence was collected and was sent to the crime lab for analysis. DR# 12-03498

020712 @ 2241 hours: Officers responded to the 500 block of West N St regarding Colton Fire performing CPR on unresponsive female. The victim was declared dead, and the Coroner was notified. Coroner determined the death to be natural and took over scene. DR# 12-03477

020612 @ 0941 hours: Officers responded to the 2500 block of East Carbon Court regarding an audible burglary alarm reported in the area. On arrival, officers found the back sliding door open and after several announcements they entered the residence. One subject was taken into custody at gunpoint. The subject was found to be a resident and the alarm was possibly four or five residence away. No other alarm was located. DR# 12-03311

020312 @ 1738 hours: Officers responded to the 1000 block of North La Cadena Dr regarding a report of an injured man knocking on doors. The victim was located in the 1200 block of Norman knocking on doors. The victim was would not talk with us but did talk with the Fire Department. He had a large bump on his forehead and several small stab wounds to his side. The victim is known to Colton Police, and officers had gone to the residence on the previous night and spoke with a female at the residence and had asked her to leave. An officer went to the residence to check for a crime scene and again found the female there. She was brought into the station to be interviewed. The victim said he was beaten and robbed but would not give us any other details as to where, when, or by who. DR# 12-03057

020312 @ 1652 hours: Officers responded to the 2000 block of West San Bernardino regarding a family disturbance. A 16year-old son, tried to attack his mother first with a baseball bat then a machete. The suspect did not harm her with these weapons but did push her and hold her against the wall, and then fled and threw away the machete. The suspect was located and so was the weapon. The suspect was booked into San Bernardino Juvenile Hall. DR# 12-03050

020212 @ 1132 hours: Officers responded to the 700 block of East Washington regarding a suspicious vehicle in the flood control channel. Two suspects contacted and arrested. Stolen property recovered. DR# 12-02941

020212 @ 0910 hours: Officers responded to the 2700 block of Reche Canyon regarding a death investigation. An elderly female with health problems passed away. No indications of suspicious circumstances were found. DR# 12-02928

020112 @ 2157 hours: Colton K9 officer assisted San Bernardino Sheriff's in the search for a burglary suspect. DR # 12-2911

020112 @ 1415 hours: Officers responded to a residential robbery that occurred in the 1000 block of Santo Antonio Dr. The victims reported that a Black Male approximately 25 years-old approached them while they were moving a refrigerator from a n apartment. The suspect brandished a firearm and robbed them at gunpoint and then fled the location. No injuries were reported. The investigation is on-going. DR# 12-02859

013112 @ 1915 hours: Officers responded to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center emergency room. Four robbery suspects were detained by Colton officers when one suspect was being treated for an injury sustained during the crime spree in San Bernardino Suspects transported to Central Detention Center in assistance to San Bernardino PD. DR# 12-02782

012712 @ 2029 hours: Officers responded to the 1400 block of North Fairview Drive regarding an unknown problem. Officers arrived and found a large pool of blood at the front door to the location. Officers attempted contact with the occupants of the residence but no one answered the door. The home owners were eventually found in the back yard of the residence. It was determined that the elderly male and female had been attacked by their adult son, who is a parolee at large. The father of the suspect had a toxic liquid thrown at him. The liquid "Goop a-away" was sprayed all over the fathers shirt and pants. The mother of the suspect was pushed and hit by the suspect, who also threatened to burn the residence with his mother and father inside. Officers located the suspect hiding in a detached garage in the attic area. The suspect refused commands of the officers to exit the location and officers had to deploy a Taser one time as they were attempting to take him into custody. The parents of the suspect desired prosecution. The parents were treated at the scene by Colton Fire and Paramedics. The suspect was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for a wound on his hand, and then booked into San Bernardino County jail for the aggravated mayhem, throwing flammable liquids, and parole violation. No injuries were sustained to any officers involved in the incident. DR# 12-02391

012612 @ 2220 hours: Officers responded to WalMart regarding a suspicious person possibly shoplifting. A White male adult suspect stole food items and fled in his vehicle to an apartment complex nearby. The suspect was found by officers and detained. He was discovered to be a convicted felon with numerous priors for robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, and drug offenses. He was booked for petty theft with priors at the Central Detention Center. DR #12-02319

012612 @ 2052 hours: A Colton Police officer assisted San Bernardino County Probation in the 2100 block of North Rancho where a probation search was conducted. DR #12-02303

012512 @ 1825 hours: Officers responded to the Domino's Pizza located on Valley Blvd where a strong arm robbery was reported. The suspect was seen running south along the railroad tracks. A search for the suspect was conducted but he was not found. DR# 12-02187

012512 @ 0930 hours: Officers responded to the 1900 block of Date Tree Lane where a residential burglary was witnessed and reported by a neighbor. Officers arrived and contained the residence. After a thorough search, the lone suspect was apprehended. Weapons were drawn by officers during the apprehension. See the Press Release for more details. DR# 12-02148

012412 @ 1724 hours: Officers responded to the 1000 block of Santo Antonio regarding a child not breathing. The child's mother reported that her 8 year-old son had gone down for a nap at around 1600 hours and when she later checked on him, he was unresponsive and turning blue. The mother advised that he was disabled and suffering from several medical conditions. The child was transported to Loma Linda Hospital where doctors later pronounced him dead. No signs of foul play were reported. DR# 12-02102

012412 @ 1130 hours: Officers assisted San Bernardino PD with the apprehension of a homicide suspect. Suspect was arrested without incident. DR# 12-02072

012312 @ 0031 hours: Police received a call from a Hispanic male adult in the 700 block of East Washington St saying that he had used methamphetamine earlier in the day. The suspect said he believed unknown people were stalking him and trying to get him. Officers arrived and begin speaking with the suspect. Colton Fire and Paramedics also responded to the scene. As the paramedics were attempting to check the suspects vital signs the suspect began hitting and punching the paramedics. Officers attempted to take the suspect into custody. The suspect was Tased one time during the fight. The suspect was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and battery. After evidence was obtained the suspect was booked into county jail. No injuries were sustained to any party during the altercation. DR# 12-01946

012212 @ 1017 hours: Officers responded to the 99 Cent Store on Mt Vernon regarding a robbery. Suspects entered the store and took property. As the suspects were leaving the store, personnel confronted them. One suspect pulled out a knife and held it in a threatening manner and both suspects fled on foot. Officers could not locate the suspects, but continued checking the area throughout the day and an officer located the suspects several hours later trying to get on the bus. Both were detained and identified at the scene by both victims. The property was not located but the knife was. As a result of the investigation, one suspect was not charged. The other suspect was found to have a prior arrest for robbery and was booked on a charge of robbery. DR# 12-01893

012112 @ 0425 hours: While enroute to assist a vehicle burglary in progress, an officer was travelling on the transition from Interstate 215 south bound to Interstate 10 west bound and he observed that a tractor and trailer that had just fallen from the south bound Interstate 215 over pass. The driver of the tractor was not injured. All west bound lanes of the Interstate 10 freeway were shut down as well as the Interstate 215 over pass connecting to the east bound 10. DR# 12-01795

012112 @ 0420 hours: Officers respond to the 1100 block West Stella Ct regarding a possible vehicle burglary in progress. As officers arrived the suspect is seen fleeing from inside of the vehicle and a short foot pursuit took place. The suspect was detained a short distance from the location and was positively identified as the suspect who entered the victim's vehicle. It was determined that the suspect had attempted to steal the victim's vehicle. The suspect was booked into county jail for attempted grand theft automobile, and burglary. DR# 12-01794

012012 @ 2115 hours: Officers responded to a subject check at the intersection of Fairway Drive and Crossroads. The subject calling said that his 27 year old sister was attempting to commit suicide by jumping off the bridge. Officers arrived and found the female sitting on the cement overcrossing. The female was sitting in such a way that she had only approximately 8 to 10 inches before falling off the cement overcrossing. Officers spoke with the female and over 1 1/2 hours of negotiations took place with the despondent her. With assistance from Colton Fire and Rescue a plan was formulated to pin the female against the steel railing where she was seated. Once the female was pinned against the steel railing, she was removed from the location safely. The female, who had taken multiple narcotics and had consumed alcohol, was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for medical evaluation as well as psychological evaluation. No injuries were sustained to anyone involved in the incident. DR# 12-01770

011912 @ 2100 hours: Officers responded to the 27600 block of South Reche Canyon Road regarding a welfare check. Dispatchers were told that the caller, who lives in Cherry Valley, had not heard from his co-worker in over a week. Officers arrived on scene and found the subject's vehicle locked and secured in his drive way. The residence was locked and secured as well. Officers were not able to make entry into the residence. Colton Fire was requested to the location to breach the front door. Once the door was opened, the victim was found deceased inside of the residence. The victim had removed a ceiling panel from the hallway. The victim tied a nylon rope around a wooden beam and placed the rope around his neck. It appeared the victim had been deceased for approximately 2 days. No signs of foul play were found. The victim, a 50 year old Colton resident was released to the San Bernardino County Coroner's office. DR# 12-01687

011812 @ 2053 hours: Officers responded to a bomb threat at WalMart. An unknown male caller advised there was a bomb in the store. Management closed the store for approximately one hour. No bomb found. DR #12-01603

011812 @ 1449 hours: Officers responded to a call of possible hostage situation in the 300 block of West Loma Verde Dr. A female subject had texted her mother saying that she was being held against her will at gunpoint and the mother contacted Police. Officers determined that there was no hostage or kidnapping crimes, but the female subject was arrested and booked for an outstanding warrant. DR# 12-01568

011612 @ 1258 hours: An officer followed up with a subject who had recently completed parole. The officer had received information that the subject might become involved in criminal activities again and the officer had a mutually respectful relationship with the subject and wanted to discuss the consequences with him. As he approached the subject's home, the officer noticed a motorcycle parked on the side of the house. A records check revealed that the motorcycle had been reported stolen. The subject claimed he was working on the motorcycle for the owner and produced a business card with the owner's name on it. The officer checked further and found that the motorcycle was reported stolen by the owner's wife, who further advised that her husband is current incarcerated and that the motorcycle had been stolen from their business location. The suspect was arrested for grand theft auto and receiving stolen property. DR# 12-01356

011512 @ 0338 hours: Officers responded along with Colton Fire to the 1100 block of South Meadow Ln regarding a fire reported to be on the balcony of an apartment. Colton Fire and Police arrived to find a large fire in progress in the apartment. Four of the apartments were damaged as a result of the fire. The origins of the fire at this point are undetermined, but not thought to be of suspicious nature. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. DR# 12-01237

011412 @ 1706 hours: Officers responded to the 1100 block of North 10th St regarding an unknown problem. A 20 year-old suspect with a temporary restraining order against him forced his way into the residence looking for his daughter. Subjects at the residence told him she was not there and told him to leave. The suspect became angry and started yelling, so the 11 yr old in the residence called 911. The suspect grabbed the juvenile, picked him up, and slamed him into the ground. The suspect then took the juvenile's cell phone and fled on foot. Officers arrived and located the suspect in an alley way leaving the area. The suspect was arrested and booked for robbery and child endangerment. The victim did not require medical attention. Child Protective Services was notified. DR# 12-01199

011412 @ 1617 hours: An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 2000 block of East Washington on a possible DUI Driver. During the stop, a vehicle search was done and 3.6 grams of Meth was located. The passenger was arrested and booked for possession for sale. DR# 12-01192

011312 @ 0543 hours: An officer on routine patrol in the area of Mt. Vernon and Washington observed a suspicious vehicle and learned that it had been reported as stolen. The officer began to follow the vehicle while waiting for backup to arrive. As officers continued to follow the vehicle onto the I-10 freeway, the suspects attempted to evade officers and exited the freeway. The suspects led police onto surface streets at high rates of speed. When they turned into an alleyway on the north side of Coulson St in San Bernardino and stopped at a dead end, the 2 suspects fled on foot. Both were taken into custody in a residence. Two additional suspects in the residence were also arrested on drug charges. DR #12-01053

010812 @ 1348 hours: Officers responded to the intersection of Congress and Fernando regarding a strong arm robbery. The victim reported being robbed by 3 Black male adults. One suspect had a crowbar. The suspects took the victim's property and fled in an older model Honda described as Black, 4-door with fading paint. The victim said he has seen the suspects in the area of 800 E Washington, and Washington and Santo Antonio. The victim was not injured. An area check was made of the areas, but no suspects or suspect vehicle was located. DR# 12-00645

010812 @ 1238 hours: Officers responded to a burglary in the 700 block of South Atchison. The residential burglary investigation led to a possible suspect: the daughter's boyfriend. The suspect was also found to be a fugitive from parole. Officers tried to contact the suspect at his residence, but were delayed at the door by his girlfriend while he fled out the back door over fences heading towards Stater Bros through Cooley Elementary School. Officers gave chase and apprehend the suspect at Cooley and Old Ranch Rd. Officers returned and arrested the girlfriend for resisting an officer. A Search Warrant was obtained to search the residence and the on call Detective was called in to assist with the investigation. During the search, stolen property was recovered. The investigation is ongoing. DR# 12-00642

010712 @ 2217 hours: Officers respond to the 1200 block of Del Giorgio Dr regarding a large party disturbance. As officers arrived they attempted to make contact with the homeowner regarding the party. As the officers were near the residence, some of the people attending the party begin to throw bottles at the officers. Additional officers arrived on scene and began to shut the party down. As the people attending the party are leaving, some of the party goers attempted to conceal large bottles with nitrous oxide. Those suspects were arrested (2) juveniles and 1 adult: One other suspect attending the party became verbal then physical with officers after being told to leave the party and refusing to do so. That suspect was tased one time while he was fighting with the officers. That suspect was arrested and booked into county jail. The home owner was arrested for child endangerment. The home owner was booked into county jail. The juveniles were released to the custody of their parent (s). Approximately 250 to 300 people were at the residence, with over half of the attendees being juveniles. No injuries to any officers involved in the incident. DR# 12-00600

010712 @ 1849 hours: Officers responded to the 800 block of East Washington regarding threats called into 911. The 911 call came in to dispatch from a male inside the apartment saying "The Bitch is going to die." Officers on scene made a call into the residence and spoke with the male caller. The subject was asked to step outside, and he did. He said he had made the call, had already hit his girlfriend inside the apartment. The subject was detained as officers checked the residence. We spoke with his 3 sons and girlfriend and all said that there had been an argument but no one had been hit or harmed. The subject said he called us first before he did hurt them. The subject was taken for mental observation. DR# 12-00579

010712 @ 1813 hours: Officers responded to the 800 block of East Washington regarding a victim being held against her will. A 911 call came in from Stater Bros of a subject holding a female at gun point against her will at her apartment. Officers found the female outside her apartment claiming her ex boyfriend was locked inside. The female said the incident took place 3 hours ago and no gun was involved. As her story continued to change, officers made contact with the male suspect. At the conclusion of the investigation he was arrested for trespassing. The subject was intoxicated and uncooperative so he was transported to West Valley Detention Center where he was issued a citation. DR# 12-00578

010712 @ 1358 hours: An officer responded to the 700 block of West Canary St to take a report of a theft. An unknown subject took the small cement cover for the water meter. This piece taken was the smaller insert cover that is normally removed by the Water Meter Reader to allow them to see the water usage counter inside the box. DR# 12-00552

010712 @ 0030 hours: Officers responded to the intersection of Litton and Cordova regarding an assault. The victim called from Riverside Community Hospital where he had been admitted with a lacerated Liver. The victim said he was at a party Friday night when he got out of his truck and used a shovel to confront someone. Once he was out of the truck he was hit with a rock causing the injury. The 17 year-old victim did not tell his parents for several hours. The parents took him to the hospital for treatment. As the investigation unfolded it appears the victim is the real suspect, however the real victims did not want any prosecution. After talking with the parents they did not want anything else done only a report for documentation. DR# 12-00574

010612 @ 0550 hours: Officers receive a call of an unknown problem in the 800 block of East Washington. The caller advised that a male subject was inside of the apartment yelling and screaming. Officers arrived and attempted to make contact at the apartment. As officers were knocking on the door to the apartment, the subject inside stopped yelling and turned off all the lights inside of the apartment. Officers continue to attempt to make contact with resident, but he refused to come to the door. Officers were able to get a key from management to make entry inside. Once inside the male was found inside of the bathroom. An adult female with 2 children, ages 2 and 3 are found inside of a bedroom. Both the male and female were taken into custody for cruelty to a child and child abuse. There was no food inside of the apartment for anyone living inside of the residence. The living conditions for the children were hazardous. The Child Protective Services department was notified and the children were released to CPS. The parents were booked into county jail. 010612 @ 0009 hours: Officers responded to a call of a man down in the street at Fairway Dr and Crossroads. Officers arrived and found an adult male lying on the roadway. Through the investigation, it appeared the pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway and an unknown vehicle struck him, causing a fatal injury. The suspect driver and vehicle fled the scene prior to police arrival. No suspect information is known at this time. The pedestrian has not been identified at this point, as it appears he may be a transient. Traffic Division responded and took over the investigation. The San Bernardino County Coroner's Office also responded for disposition of the male victim. DR# 12-00414

010512 @ 1542 hours: Officers responded to the 2100 block of Wild Canyon Dr regarding a man forcing his way into a residence. The suspect is the ex-husband of the victim who is currently in the Philippines. Last week, the suspect showed up at her residence where he has not lived and has no standing. At that time, he slashed all the tires on her vehicle and broke into the residence. He stole the ex-wife's dog while there. On today's date, the suspect returned to the location and fought with a caretaker for the residence. He threatened to burn down the residence and was able to force his way in. The caretaker fled and called police. Officers ordered the suspect to leave the residence but he refused to comply. With no progress over a 45 minute period, a tactical team made entry and located the suspect in the victim's master bedroom. He was non-compliant and would not show his hands. After several warnings, K9 was deployed as well as a taser. The suspect taken into custody and treated for injuries and later booked on stalking charges. DR# 12-00381

010512 @ 1444 hours: Officers responded to the 1700 block of North Pennsylvania Ave regarding a report of a burglary suspect that has entered a home. The suspect forced entry into the victim's residence and was confronted by the homeowner. Suspect fled on foot and was spotted by arriving units about 200 yards south of the residence. The suspect immediately engaged officers, striking at them with hands and feet. Suspect was taken to the ground and had to be hobbled before being taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for medical clearance as a result of unknown drugs in his system. DR# 12-00375

010512 @ 0603 hours: Officers responded to the 1700 block of Kippy Dr regarding a vehicle burglary. Two suspects broke into a vehicle and were detained leaving the area. The suspects were identified by the witness. Several stolen items were found in the suspect's possession. As the investigation was being conducted, three more burglary victims were found. The stolen property was returned to the victims. The suspects are booked into County jail. DR # 12-00350

010512 @ 0356 hours: Officers responded to the 3000 block of East Canyon Vista regarding a residential robbery. Two suspects entered the residence and took property from the victims. Investigation is ongoing. DR # 12-00347

010412 @ 0307 hours: Officer on patrol spotted a suspicious vehicle in an area known for narcotics activity. While checking on the vehicle the officer learned that it had been reported stolen. The vehicle fled from the officer and he pursued. The driver tried to evade the officer but lost control and crashed. The suspect was taken into custody and treated at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for abrasion to forehead caused by striking the windshield. DR # 12-00259

010212 @ 0353 hours: Officers responded to a commercial burglary alarm at R and R liquor on Rancho. Officers found that the bottom floor was secured by a roll-up door and security bars. When they inspected the interior of the business they saw that a suspect had made entry from the adjoining business. Officers used a ladder from Colton Fire Department to access the roof where it was found the suspect had removed an air duct to gain access to the neighboring business. Once inside, the suspect broke a hole out of the drywall and accessed R and R liquor. Upon reviewing the video it appeared the suspect only took cigarettes. Both businesses were searched by K-9 with negative results. DR# 12-00099
